I’m originally a morning-person. A lately popular definition of someone who becomes really active and energized in the morning.

But the bad side of this habit (maybe personally on me) is when I did not plan my morning well and end-up scrolling / binge-watching a some Youtube contents randomly. Usually the one that appears on my Home.

Sometime, I’m getting inspired. But most of the time, I feel distracted and anxious. Start feeling uncomfortable with your own life that actually okay enough. Questioning whether you’re going to reach a certain goal or not. Questioning whether even if when you reach that goal, you’re going to be fulfilled or not. And it creates even more a distraction-loop. You know, sort of a regret feeling when you can’t do the things that properly you did. Your morning routine / “on-going to be morning routine”, for example, are messed-up. Totally.

So quick tips I’d recommend to myself or anyone who read this:

  1. If you are a morning person, easy to be distracted personality, don’t habituate yourself to do scrolling randomly in the morning like me. Opening your phone in a while is okay, just to check your inbox or things you need to check (like me, frequently seeing time). But avoid scrolling routine. You won’t ready. The best case, to getting happy / inspired is just 10%, according to my not-so-statistical overview. Instead, the risk of getting anxious / distracted / demotivated for the whole day is 90%.
  2. I’m gonna say a cliche but gold advise. We’re working on our pace and progress. We’re gonna make it. Stay focus. But make sure, you’ve finished deciding your “it” (your goals / dreams). Because if you haven’t then you need to worry :)

Thanks for reading until this sentence again! Hope your day works well!
